SYNOPSIS
The NYC agent, Tom Clerc, carrier of SGx29 a powerful genetic mutation, is sent to Japan with his colleague to investigate various intriguing crimes committed by Japanese Deaf mutants.
TREATMENT
The secret agent Tom Clerc (Emilio Insolera) is Deaf from a multi-generational Deaf family ranging as far back as the 17th century and is descendant of Laurent Clerc 'the Father of the Deaf in America'. Tom is carrier of SGx29 a powerful Sign Gene mutation that enables him to create super powers through the use of Sign Language. However, he lost a significant portion of his powers during a fierce fight some years back against his main villain, his own deaf brother Jux Clerc (Humberto Insolera) the leader of an evil organization dedicated to exterminating Sign Gene mutants, called the 1.8.8.0.
Hugh Denison (Ben Bahan), the head of the Q.I.A. (QuinPar Intelligence Agency), an agency affiliated to the Pentagon composed of hand-selected agents with Sign Gene mutation, sends Tom Clerc and his colleague Ken Wong (Danny Gong) from New York City to Osaka to investigate various intriguing crimes scene. They end up in a fight with a Japanese gang led by Tatsumi Fuwa (Hiroshi Vava) and learn that they can win the game only by playing it the Japanese way. Tom Clerc also learns that his powers are not lost forever.

SIGN GENE MUTANTS
Every mutant carrier of the Sign Gene mutation is able to create superpowers only through the use of Sign Language. Specific powers are based on the type of genetic mutation they carry.
Q.I.A.
Q.I.A. (QuinPar Intelligence Agency) is a Secret Service agency based in New York City and is affiliated to the Pentagon. The agency is composed of hand selected agents who are carriers of the Sign Gene mutation. Tom Clerc is one of the agents of the prestigious Q.I.A.
1.8.8.0.
1.8.8.0. (International Genetic Genealogy Organization) is based in Milan, Italy and is run by Jux Clerc. Their aim is to destroy the Sign Gene mutation. The name of the organization makes reference to the Milan Conference in 1880 where educators declared that 'sound' languages were superior to 'visual' languages and passed a resolution banning the use of sign language in schools.
CLERC FAMILY
Clerc lineage is the largest and most powerful group of deaf families carrying ancient and extraordinary Sign Gene powers. All of Tom Clerc's families and relatives are descendant of the honourable Laurent Clerc.
MASSIEU FAMILY
Massieu lineage is another group of deaf families that have tremendous Sign Gene powers. Kate Massieu is one of the descendant of the notable Jean Massieu.

KATE MASSIEU
(Carola Insolera)
is Tom Clerc's lady. She is Deaf, carrier of another powerful genetic mutation, known as SGx11 and is descendant of Jean Massieu, a pioneering Deaf educator.
JUX CLERC
(Humberto Insolera)
is Tom Clerc's brother and his main villain. Regardless of his deafness, he is the face of the 1.8.8.0. an organization that focuses in exterminating Sign Gene mutants.
TATSUMI FUWA
(Hiroshi Vava)
is the boss of a Japanese gang and runs the F.G.E.L. (Fuwa Genetic Engineering Laboratory).
DRAGON EYE
(Nobuyuki Motte)
is Tatsumi Fuwa's right arm.
HUGH DENISON
(Ben Bahan)
is the boss of the QuinPar Intelligence Agency. He is Deaf and is descendant of James Denison, the only deaf delegate to attend the Milan Conference in 1880.
OLIVER VEDITZ
(Jesse Thomas)
is a staff at the QuinPar Intelligence Agency. He is descendant of George Veditz, one of the first presidents of the NAD (National Association of the Deaf) during early 1900.
LINDA CLERC
(Cristina Insolera)
is Tom Clerc's grandmother. She lives between Rome, Paris and New York City.
SHIMAMOTO YASUNORI
(Harada Naoki)
is an inspector from the Osaka Police Department. He is following up several mysterious cases related to Sign Gene mutants.
KUMI SASAKI

is descendant of Kojiro Sasaki a deaf samurai from the Edo period (17th century).
